The USB Connect 4G - EU is a USB -Device device for cellular communication and supports the LTE CAT 4 standard.

The device is connected to the host device by a USB Type A interface, which supplies the USB -Device device with power and transmit/receive data.

  1. Install the drivers for Windows/Linux operating system on your host device→ device.→ https://www.telit.com/evkevb-drivers/

  2. Plug in the USB Connect 4G into the USB Type A socket of the host device.

  3. Make sure that the distance from your body to the USB Connect 4G is greater larger than 20 cm.

  4. If the USB socket of the host device is active, the USB Connect 4G starts automatically.

  5. Now you can identify the COM port of the USB Connect 4G - EU and send AT commands to unlock the at AT command interface. Therefore For this, you need to send the following command (ask manufacturer for password):

The To avoid damage to the USB device , the power supply should must not be suddenly interrupted before the shutdown procedure has been fully carried out.

  1. First set the following setting via the AT command interface (e.g. via the AT controller):

  3. After about 15s 15 sec you can safely disconnect the USB Connect 4G from the host device.

It The USB device is only allowed to be used in products where the USB device itself is placed to a location which guarantees a distance of >20cm from the user (user body). The bulky dimensions of the enclosure of the USB device (H x L x W = 24 x 85 x 57mm) already indicate that usage in a normal laptop is not intended and would be inconvenient.
